From the moment we set foot on the Oceania Insignia, we experienced an atmosphere of intimate luxury. Oceania, a premium/luxury line by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., offers an elevated experience with a maximum of 684 passengers and an exceptional guest-to-staff ratio of 1.71 to 1. The tagline “The Finest Cuisine at Sea” piqued our curiosity, making us eager to see if it lived up to the hype. With a history of cruising on larger ships, the Insignia provided a refreshing change.
🛌 The Accommodations: A Home Away from Home
Our stay in the Concierge Level Verandah Suite was a haven of comfort and luxury. The room featured Bvlgari toiletries, robes, slippers, and nightly chocolates which added a touch of decadence.

The food on Oceania Insignia far exceeded our expectations, underscoring their claim of offering “The Finest Cuisine at Sea.”
Poolside Dining: Indulged in Wagyu burgers topped with lobster and gourmet ice creams

Buffet Highlights: Cooked-to-order lobster and steaks; however, steaks could use more seasoning for a more robust flavor
🍹 Beverage Perks – The “Simply More” perks added a delightful touch to our dining experience, providing a variety of beverages.

Though smaller in scale compared to mega-ships, the entertainment onboard Oceania Insignia was wonderful, with a personal touch that made it unique.

Daily Activities: Trivia, golf, shuffleboard and karaoke created a lively and intimate atmosphere
Personal Touch: Entertainment staff mingling with guests added a friendly and personable vibe
